Project Create particpated in CreateAThon 2006, a 24-hour design marathon benefitting Washington DC area non-profits in September 2006. Mediastudio selected eleven area non-profits to receive communications products such as web sites and print brochures to help the organizations raise awareness and funds.

Visit the District’s cutting-edge art galleries on a walking tour with Washington Post “Galleries” columnist Jessica Dawson. Dawson, who has covered the District’s contemporary art scene for over a decade, will discuss artists, collecting, and the art scene as she leads the group through exhibitions at Hemphill Fine Arts, Curator’s Office, Transformer and other galleries. Conversation will last approximately one hour. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Participate in a discussion about what makes Adams a pioneering figure in the history of photography and explore his connection to Georgia O'Keeffe and the American Southwest.
