Classes

The Project Create Arts Center in Anacostia is full of art supplies and equipment, computers with creative design software, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. Studio classes (such as mixed media explorations, creative branding, music production, photography, and drawing & painting) are provided daily by our talented staff of caring teaching artists and art therapists. See schedule below.

Open Studio

Three days a week, artists and art therapists lead open studio for students after school before Project Create classes. Open studio time provides unstructured time for our students to work on their ongoing projects and artwork, building upon the skills they learn in class.

Family Art Day

One of Project Create’s most successful community programs is our twice-monthly Family Art Days. For three hours on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, Project Create opens the doors of their studio to local families to engage in artistic exploration, art-making and creative play.
